T-Ball beim Adler
Wer immer du warst, meinen beiden Jungs hast du grosse Freude bereitet. Danggschön!
After the Softball Team played on Saturday at the Lucerne Eagles, the Flyers T-Ball Team travelled to Lucerne on Sunday to play a tournament. Three teams (Eagles, Kobras, Flyers) played against each other, every game around one hour. The weather was fantastic and the field in perfect shape. Play ball on baseball field, with real dugouts, sand infield and backstop was quite motivating for the Flyers T-Ball players. They showed a lot of passion on the field and made from beginning some nice outs in the defence. Also in the offense they showed what they learned during the year. Not only nice hits, but also really good base running. It was a pleasure to see how enthusiastic the kids where playing baseball. At the top, the beautiful weather. A perfect day for the youngest baseball player in Switzerland.
But King of the Day was the Eagles mascot. A funny Eagle took the attention of the kids and they had troubles to concentrate on the game. The kids where happy when showed up for the group picture and the photographer had some troubles to take the attention of the kids as everyone was looking at the Eagle.
A big thank you to Monique Schmitt for the organisation of the tournament and the give always. A big thank you to the Lucerne Eagles that we could play on their field and for the provided food. A big thank you to the two other Teams and their pick up players.
The biggest thank you from a children’s view goes to the Eagles mascot. Whoever you were, my boys had a lot of pleasure because of you. Danggschön!
