    Hello Flyers,

     
    Congratulations!  We have finished the 2023 regular season with an undefeated record and the top position in the U12 Central Division.  I am very proud of the team and all their hard work to get to this position.  
     
    We are now entering the playoffs.  The first round of the playoffs is to be held on Sunday June 11 in Therwil.
     
    We will play 2 of the 3 games held on this gameday.  
     
    10:00 AM - Geneva Dragons 2 Vs. Therwil Flyers
    12:30 PM - Wil Devils Vs. Geneva Dragons 2
    15:00 PM - Therwil Flyers Vs. Wil Devils
     
    Both the Dragons and the Devils finished decisively in the top of their respective divisions.  So the level of baseball promises to be very competitive in these upcoming games.
     
    Based on the outcome of these games, the seeding for the Swiss Championship will be determined (June 18th in Zurich).   
     
    We will play our strongest team of available players in the playoffs, primarily our most dedicated and experienced U12 players.  
     
    We will meet on Sunday June 11 at 8:30 AM ready for warm up. 
     
    It would be greatly appreciated if a few parents could also arrive a little earlier to help me set up the field.

    Please bring the following items:
     
    -Flyers uniform (hat, white pants, indoor gym shoes) Jersey is giben out on site
    -ID/passport or paper copy (can be checked by the Umpire)
    -glove
    -Deep protection cup
    -water bottle, enough water, food
     
    The grill we be open at the K1 field where the Cadets are also playing.

    Hallo Flyers,

    Glückwunsch! Wir haben die reguläre Saison 2023 mit einer ungeschlagenen Bilanz und dem Spitzenplatz in der U12 Central Division abgeschlossen. Ich bin sehr stolz auf das Team und die harte Arbeit, die es für diese Position geleistet hat.

    Wir gehen jetzt in die Playoffs. Die erste Runde der Playoffs findet am Sonntag, 11. Juni, in Therwil statt.

    Wir werden 2 der 3 Spiele dieses Spieltags spielen.

    10:00 Uhr – Geneva Dragons 2 Vs. Therwil-Flyer
    12:30 Uhr – Wil Devils vs. Geneva Dragons 2
    15:00 Uhr – Therwil Flyers vs. Wil Devils

    Sowohl die Dragons als auch die Devils landeten deutlich an der Spitze ihrer jeweiligen Divisionen. Das Niveau des Baseballs dürfte also in den kommenden Spielen sehr konkurrenzfähig sein.

    Basierend auf den Ergebnissen dieser Spiele wird die Setzliste für die Swiss Meisterschaft ermittelt (June 18th in Zurich). 

    Wir werden in den Playoffs unser stärkstes Team an verfügbaren Spielern spielen lassen, vor allem unsere engagiertesten und erfahrensten U12-Spieler.

    Wir treffen uns am Sonntag, den 11. Juni, um 8:30 Uhr zum Aufwärmen.

    Es wäre sehr dankbar, wenn ein paar Eltern auch etwas früher kommen könnten, um mir beim Aufbau des Feldes zu helfen.
     
    Die folgenden Spieler sind angemeldet. Wenn Sie Änderungen an Ihren Anwesenheitsplänen haben, kontaktieren Sie mich bitte so schnell wie möglich (HEUTE!).

    Bitte bringen Sie folgende Gegenstände mit:
     
    - Flyer-Uniform (Mütze, weiße Hose, Hallenturnschuhe). Trikot wird vor Ort ausgehändigt
    -Personalausweis/Reisepass oder Papierkopie (kann vom Schiedsrichter überprüft werden)
    -Handschuh
    -Tiefe Schutzschale
    -Wasserflasche, ausreichend Wasser, Essen
     
    Der Grill ist auf dem K1-Feld geöffnet, wo auch die Kadetten spielen.
